I'm glad you mentioned that slipping on a surface in inclement weather is usually covered by workers' compensation. My sister slipped and hurt her wrist at the entryway of her work because the floor was wet from tracked-in snow. I'll have to encourage her to consult with a workers' comp lawyer in her area now that I know she might be eligible!
